Jason Abaza D.C.
Dr. Jason Abaza's journey began in East Hanover, where he graduated with honors from Hanover Park High School in 2010. Recognized for his leadership skills, he was awarded a scholarship that paved the way for him to pursue his doctorate at Life University in Marietta, Georgia-a globally renowned institution for chiropractic education. It was there that he honed his expertise in chiropractic care and met his wife, Dr. Marissa.
In 2017, Dr. Jason earned his doctorate in chiropractic and returned to his home state with a passionate mission: to provide families with an all-natural, holistic approach to health care. Dr. Jason is dedicated to offering answers and solutions for his patients' health concerns, empowering them to take charge of their well-being, and guiding them toward optimal health.
Dr. Jason's goal is to create a supportive and educational environment where every patient feels equipped to achieve lasting wellness naturally.

Marissa Abaza D.C.
Dr. Marissa has always had a passion for serving others. Before chiropractic she was a professional salsa dancer. While she loved performing on stage and social dancing, she was particularly drawn to instructing. Not only did she experience tremendous personal healing through dance, she also found she could also help individuals heal and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Marissa was eventually introduced to the philosophy and vitalistic lifestyle of chiropractic, and from that moment on she realized she could help people on a much grander scale. With fervor, she embraced this newfound passion for chiropractic, said farewell to her family and friends in San Diego, and moved across the country to pursue her doctorate at the world’s most renowned chiropractic college, Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Marissa completed her senior research presentation at Life University on the subject of breastfeeding difficulties and chiropractic. This spawned another passion for her – perinatal care and pediatrics. Soon thereafter she became a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and received advanced certification in Webster Technique. Dr. Marissa is now currently pursuing the ICPA Certification program to expand her expertise in adjusting techniques, evaluation, and assessment of different stages of development – from pregnancy, birth, and infancy to childhood.
Dr. Marissa was born and raised in San Diego, CA. While she never imagined leaving this gorgeous city permanently, she met Dr. Jason while attending Life University. They were drawn to each other early in the doctorate program, and neither could deny their incredible dynamic, personally and professionally. Months before their graduation, Dr. Jason proposed marriage and Dr. Marissa gladly accepted. The two then embarked on opening their dream practice together near Dr. Jason’s hometown of East Hanover.

Hello, I'm Jill Burke, the office manager at Adjust Health Center. I take great pride in welcoming each and every one of our valued patients with a warm smile behind the front desk. With over a decade of experience in customer service, I am dedicated to ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors feels welcomed and cared for.
I come from a family that values hard work and helping others, and I believe this philosophy has shaped my strong work ethic and positive outlook on life. Finding Adjust Health Center felt like finding a second family, as our shared passion for helping others aligns perfectly with my own values. Whether I am assisting you at the front desk or working on projects at home, my focus is always on making a positive impact on those around me.
When I am not at Adjust, you can often find me at my family's cabin on the Lehigh River, spending quality time with my wife Taylor, or eagerly preparing for the arrival of our first child in March 2025. Hi! I'm Mariana, the receptionist here at Adjust. I am a local student who is passionate about science and personal growth, which is what led me to Adjust! Currently, I am studying to pursue a career in chemical engineering. In my free time, I enjoy painting, documentaries, and day trips! Adjust pushes me to be the best version of myself and continue my journey.

Hi, my name is Susan Bates. I was born and raised in South Central Virginia and moved to New Jersey in 2010. I now live on a small homestead farm in Allamuchy with my fiancé and our cats. For years, I've been dedicated to growing vegetables organically and raising grass-fed beef and pastured pork to provide healthy food for myself and others.
Health and proper nutrition are my passions, and I've been on a journey to improve my own well-being holistically for many years.
I first came to Adjust as a patient seeking relief from neck pain. Not only did I experience significant pain relief, but I also noticed improvements in my sleep and overall health. When Dr. Jason and Dr. Marissa asked me to join their team as Chiropractic Assistant, I was thrilled to say "YES!" I'm now the Case Manager at Adjust, focusing on Red Light Therapy. When I'm not at Adjust, you can usually find me outdoors, getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine whether it is in my garden or reading a good book!
